OneSteel Reinforcing now has fresh stocks of its wire mesh gauge.
Many of these simple but effective aids have been distributed free of
charge since OneSteel Reinforcing introduced the device last year.
The rugged, pocket sized disc was developed to help anyone involved
with reinforcing mesh to confirm key Reomesh sizes from SL52
through to RL1118 and also Trench Meshes in the ‘ 8’, ‘ 11’ and ‘ 12’
ranges.
“It’s proven to be extremely popular with builders, architects,
engineers, certifiers and students,” OneSteel Reinforcing’s Marketing
Services Manager, David Zorzi said.
“We exhausted our original supply, because the gauge obviously met
a widespread need in the industry, but now we have new stocks.
“It fits conveniently into a pocket and provides a very quick and
accurate check for builders and certifiers to confirm that the correct
grade of reinforcing mesh has been used.
“In many cases there is little difference in wire diameters and even
if you are working with reinforcing mesh every day it helps to have an
accurate gauge to avoid mistakes.”
